A New Season of Pittsburgh Symphony - October 11, 2017

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra broadcast season opens with a very special Gala featuring pianist Lang Lang and  14-year-old piano prodigy, Maxim Lando, in special arrangement of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.  Lang Lang will present a special arrangement of this iconic jazz-concerto composed as a piano duet in which two players perform on a single piano. Lang Lang will play the right hand, and Lando, will play the left.  Read more about the gala and this young prodigy.
