Madrigalia and director Cary Ratcliff are no strangers to Classical 91.5 listeners. They've appeared on Backstage Pass, and their "Cup of Good Cheer" on Live from Hochstein has been a tradition for years. Indeed, Madrigalia has been serenading Rochester for over four decades, with no signs of slowing down.

On April 3, Madrigalia makes the first of two appearances on Performance Rochester with selections from their Magic, Spells, and Mystery concert from March 31 and April 1, 2017.

“With words and secret knowledge, humans have long tried to control their world, their destiny, and the objects of their desires,” said Ratcliff. “This old-world view and our wish for magical shortcuts die hard, as evidenced by this fun program of magic, spells and mystery.”
