Performance Today, hosted by acclaimed classical music host and commentator Fred Child, is a unique celebration of today's art of classical music. The two-hour program features classical music in concert from studios, festivals and concert halls across the nation and around the world, as well as classical music news, interviews and features.

The Piano Puzzler is a weekly quiz where listeners from around the country call in to try to identify the familiar tune and the classical composer’s style that Bruce Adolphe is mimicking in his weekly compositions. Interested in being a contestant?  Contact us or phone us toll-free at 1-866-943-4450.

Now, for the first time, great performers get their hands on Bruce Adolphe's Piano Puzzlers.  First-ever Recordings of Bruce Adolphe’s Piano Puzzlers by Fred Child, Joseph Kalichstein, Fabio Luisi, Orli Shaham, Marija Stroke, Orion Weiss, & Bruce, too!  When you purchase any one of these digital downloads, WXXI Classical 91.5 will receive a small portion of your purchase price.  Explore now at: pianopuzzler.com.

It’s a snapshot of the Gateways Music Festival from Kodak Hall, on Performance Today.  I’m Fred Child and I was delighted to enjoy so many performances, and meet many of the musicians of the Gateways Music Festival on my first trip to Rochester.  I’ll be sharing highlights from the festival and conversations with some of the artists in a special presentation of Performance Today, Tuesday at 2pm, here on Classical 91.5.
